Playing around with the $10 studio
Trying to play around a little with the cheapo studio i built a week or so ago. The following image was taken with a single light obviously from the left side. I found some black posterboard at the grocery store to use for a background, but it’s not very black. I need to work in photoshop to make that black without hurting the rest of the image. Wonder if Rancilio is needing any product photographers. Not too shabby, if I say so myself.
In class last week, Gayle (the instructor) showed us an image of an holy man that was taken by using a long exposure, and some sort of zoom lens. I’ll see if I can find the photo and post it later. However, since there aren’t any holy men in my apartment, I just used the tamper from the above image, and played a little. Guess there were several effects I might have been able to do with this. Maybe I can play a little more tonight, we’ll see. Hopefully with something more interesting. Wonder if our cat Daphne is available (Just Kidding, L)?
