flowers
I recently acquired a Canon 100mm f2.8 macro lens. I had rented one a few months ago for our trip to Shenandoah National Park. It was fun to play with, but I really wasn’t sure that it was something that I would want to use regularly. I decided, however that with the springtime coming up, i’d want to have something to play around with shooting all the flowers in the area.
It’s just amazing that living here in our Nation’s capitol how many cool things there are to do. L and I were out looking for wedding reception sites and found this cool place called Brookside Gardens, which is up near where we used to live in Maryland. Won’t work for us, however, just because of the size of the venue. There was an orchid show going on, and I took some pics of that, but I like these little white and yellow flowers. I’m not sure what they are, exactly, I suppose I should’ve taken a shot of the badge identifying the flower species.
