Lighting 102 Cooking Assigment
Sat down last night to work on my lighting 102 cooking light assigment
Was a bit of a challenge to decide what cooking or kitchen utensil to light, especially something that was to be for a calendar or on the wall of a ubiquitous “fast casual” restaurant. I’ve already submitted my “final” image, but may play around a little more, had some more ideas of things to try.
Shot these with the Canon 30D, flash fired wirelessly from Camera Left.
Here’s the basic setup shot:
Sneak Peek
Liz and I took a week off from our lives and traveled to the Pacific Northwest for a week to check out the area, and go to our friends Mary and Scott’s wedding in Seattle. I took about 800 photos, of which I’m about 1/3 of the way through, and I’m actually really happy with them. Here are two that I’m particularly happy with.
This one is from Hood River, Oregon, at the 3rd Stop of the “Fruit Loop” where Liz and I tasted wines, picked Cherries, smelled fields of lavender, and just enjoyed the day.
This is an iris in the Japanese Public Gardens in Portland.
Many more to come, and I know I need to be better about posting. Hopefully some of my waterfall pictures will turn out and I’ll include them here as well.
