One more…

Found another good Iguana. This time at the Paradisius all-inclusive resort we stayed at in Tamarindo.

I guana, U guana, everybody Guana!

I’ve started posting some pictures from the wedding and honeymoon over at Flickr. One thing that there is certainly no shortage of in Costa Rica, is Iguanas. Big ones, little ones, they’re everywhere. They come out in the morning (from where ever they sleep and put themselves in the sunniest place they can find. Middle of the sidewalk, a fence, tree, it doesn’t matter.

This guy was on Beach Number 1 at Manuel Antonio Park. He was coming right at me, or at least I was in the way to where he was going.

We ran across these two later in the day after our tour of the park. Our tour guides for the day was named, interestingly enough Iguana Tours. I would recommend them to anyone taking a trip to this area. Courteous, intelligent, and they really seem to care about what they’re doing and making you enjoy your time in their country.

Many more pictures to follow. These were some of my favorites.

I’m hitched

We finally tied the knot two weeks ago on March 29th in Chevy Chase, MD. We didn’t think about bouquet preservation prior to the wedding, and we weren’t really sure what the photographer had taken, so I snapped a few photos of the bouquet on Sunday before we went into DC to be tourists with my folks.

I’ve never been one to write anything on a bathroom wall, but we went for dinner on Sunday afternoon to Ben’s Chili Bowl in DC and the bathroom walls are painted with chalkboard paint i guess to prevent the typical filth that you’d find in many DC bathrooms. It seems to work. I found this moment appropriate to record forever my marriage to Elizabeth.

And in Black and White
