Finally - I think it’s working!

I have been trying this Wordpress blog out for a while, with the hopes of using it for a fairly customizable web site.  I've seen a few photographers sites that I really like, and I wanted to try to make my own site in the same style as their sites.

I spent a fair amount of time several months ago deconstructing the website that I paid to have put together in order to build a new one, to then just dump it and start from scratch with this website.  With my acquired "knowledge", I have since been given the honor of managing my company's website (for my full time job) as well.  I hope that this wordpress format continues to suit me, but more importantly, I hope that I continue to grow and am able to learn html, php.

Here is a sunset from my Honeymoon in Costa Rica.  We were lucky enough to be able to take a wonderful sunset boat ride to watch the sun disappear over the horizon.

Buddy from Seattle

Josh and Robin's dog has a great personality.  He was always interested in the new people in the house.  I hope that we can have a dog again some day.  Don't get me wrong, Daphne brings me lots of smiles.  She has really transformed into a lap cat these days.  I've never seen her so cuddly.

Seattle Wedding

Patricia and Kevin - 5/3/08

Clise Mansion - Marymoor Park, Redmond, WA

I had the opportunity of helping my friend Jeremy with a wedding in Seattle last weekend.  His wife was pregnant, so he asked me if I'd be available as a backup just in case she had the baby early.  As it turned out, Elisa had their baby Dylan a full 8 weeks early, and came home the Thursday afternoon before the wedding, but Jeremy was able to make the wedding after all.

Jeremy and I used to mountain bike together all the time when I lived in Texas, but have since both caught the camera bug;  me while in the DC area, and he in Dallas.  I have been to Dallas several times since, but we've never had the chance to go and shoot together.  It was nice that we got to hang out for the weekend, and I was very thankful that his sister and brother in law were able to put us up for the weekend. I'm sure their boys enjoyed sleeping with Grandma for the weekend.

Anyways, I will stop rambling…here are some photos from their beautiful wedding.

Workshop Favorites

I think I have finally come to the point where I can stop editing the pictures I took at the workshop and call them complete.  I am sure I will revisit them at some point, but for now I will call them complete.

And another from Briana.  I probably spent the most time with Briana during the day, but all the models were just terrific.
